In today’s crowded digital space, imagery matters. It leaps out at your audience in their newsfeeds. It provides context to support your articles. Image-based CTAs depend on it. But finding the right image for your requirements isn’t always easy. Here’s our process.
Step 1 of the process
The content writer should visit https://www.shutterstock.com/home. This is the site we use to quickly source high-quality, royalty-free images.
Step 2 of the process
The content writer should log into the BabelQuest Shutterstock account using the details located in the BabelQuest Passwords document. This can be located by searching for it on Google Drive.
Step 3 of the process
Once you have logged into our Shutterstock account, the content writer is free to browse Shutterstock using the search function to locate a suitable image for their content.
Tips: If you find an image you like but it’s not quite right, scroll down to view Similar Images and Same Artist.
Step 4 of the process
Once the content writer has found a suitable image, select which size you require (usually M or L) and click Download. The image will be saved to your machine.
At time of writing, our Shutterstock plan allows us to download 50 images per month. If you need to re-download an image in a different size, this doesn’t count towards this allowance.
