Izzy Witts

Platform Consultant at BabelQuest

Hi, I’m Izzy! I’ve recently returned to BabelQuest after over eight years working in in-house roles, and I’m thrilled to be back!

I first started working with HubSpot in 2013, and I’ve used it in every role since. Starting out with a background in content and digital marketing, I’ve slowly transitioned into a full-stack HubSpot admin, specialising in CRM build and automation. I’ve predominantly worked in SaaS businesses across a wide range of industries, from PropTech to Legal and Finance to Supply Chain Management, but I love learning new things and taking on different challenges.

My favourite thing to do is take business processes, map them out, and then optimise them with automation. I love tinkering, fixing things, and developing bespoke solutions.

Outside of work, you can find me charging around the countryside with my horse or with my head in a book. I also enjoy keeping myself fit and active, eating good food, and spending time with my friends and family. 

About my role

My role as a Platform Consultant varies day to day based on our clients' needs. Some days I can be running a portal audit, checking the overall health and efficiency of a portal and making recommendations, and other days I can be supporting my lovely colleagues on a project to build a brand-new portal.

Some of the things I work on include:

  • Supporting the migration of data and automation from a legacy platform into HubSpot
  • Building out the CRM and data architecture
  • Creating automation to make business processes more efficient
  • Building reports and dashboards, and laying the foundations for good data hygiene
  • Undertaking portal audits to help our clients get the most from their HubSpot subscriptions
  • Delivering onboarding and training Sessions
  • Supporting my lovely colleagues on their projects

What I love about BabelQuest

The thing I love most about BabelQuest is the company culture and our people. Everyone brings their best selves to work every day, and it’s clear that, regardless of their role, everyone genuinely wants to do the best for our clients and the business. It’s wonderful to be part of a business where everybody wants to help, and everybody wants you to succeed.

On returning to BabelQuest, I was struck by how different the business was, yet how the core values and the very heart of the company had remained the same. That’s incredibly rare, and I’m delighted that I can be a part of it again.

I love that we are actively encouraged to try something outside of our comfort zones, whilst being supported to do so. The time dedicated to personal development is invaluable, and I’m so lucky to learn from some of the absolute best in the HubSpot Universe. I look forward to going into the office every week; a big change after working remotely for such a long time! And I always feel reassured knowing that I have a wonderful team around me, whether it’s asking for help with a tricky problem or just going for a walk around the block.
