Sales Pipeline: How to Set Up Reminder Emails in HubSpot for Deals in Certain Stages

Effective communication and timely follow-ups are essential for any business, but managing open deals can be challenging. As deals progress through various stages, implementing automated follow-ups can save significant time. This allows your team to focus on higher-priority tasks while ensuring deals don't stall by keeping all parties accountable and informed.

Here's how:

  1. In the main navigation bar, go to Automation > Workflows.
  2. Click Create Workflow.
  3. Select Start from scratch and choose a Deal-based workflow.
  4. Name your workflow and click Create Workflow.
  5. Click on Set enrollment triggers.
  6. Choose the property Deal Stage.
  7. Click Add Filter > Deal Stage.
    1. Select is any of and choose the appropriate stages.
    2. Add another filter for the time condition by selecting Time since property last updated and setting it to 7 days.
  8. Click Apply filter
  9. Click the + button to add an action and select Send email.
  10. Choose an email or create a new email to remind the deal owner.
    1. How to create a new email: Go to Marketing > Email and click Create Email. Follow the prompts to design your email and save it.

Click Review and then Activate.

This process can be expanded and fine-tuned to suit your specific business needs, but the basics remain the same.
