Creating a training dashboard in HubSpot is a great way to provide quick, accessible training for your team. This method utilises HubSpot’s ability to upload videos, allowing you to create a centralised hub for training materials. Watch the video or scroll down for written instructions.
Prep work
Before you start building your dashboard, prepare your training videos. Keep them short, clear, and focused on specific topics. For instance:

- How to email your contacts from HubSpot
Short, snappy videos are easier to absorb than lengthy ones.
Creating the dashboard
- Log in to your HubSpot account and go to your dashboard section.
- Click on “Create Dashboard” and name it appropriately (e.g., “Training Dashboard”).
- Write a description by clicking on “Add widget” and select “Notes.” Write a brief description explaining the purpose of the dashboard and what kind of training videos it contains.
- Next we want to upload the videos so navigate to the file manager. Click on “Upload files” and select the training videos you’ve prepared. Make sure all videos are uploaded successfully.
- Go back to your training dashboard, click “Add widget,” and select “Text or Video.”
- Choose the option to insert a video. You will see a list of videos you’ve uploaded to HubSpot. Click on the video you want to add, and it will be inserted into the dashboard frame.
- For each video, add a brief description explaining what the video covers.
Once your dashboard is set up and reviewed, share it with your team.
