How to Use GeoMapper and HubSpot for Regional ABM Campaigns

Create highly effective regional ABM campaigns with this app.

Want to laser-focus your sales efforts and make every interaction count? Regional Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is your solution, and GeoMapper, combined with HubSpot, is the key to unlocking its full potential.

With GeoMapper, you can visualise your ideal customers on a map, identify regional clusters, and create highly targeted lists based on location, industry, deal stage, and more. This allows you to focus on high-value accounts in specific regions and run hyper-targeted campaigns that drive real results.

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Connect GeoMapper
    GeoMapper is accessed directly within your HubSpot account. Look for the GeoMapper icon in the right-hand side panel if you've already downloaded it or download from the marketplace. 
  2. Choose your data
    Select the HubSpot data you want to map. You can map companies, contacts, deals, or even custom objects. 

    For this example, we want to map Company data. 
  3. Create filtered lists
    Create lists based on various criteria, such as location, industry, deal stage, or lifecycle stage. You can combine multiple filters to create highly targeted lists. 

    For this example, we want the lifecycle stage to be SQL.
  4. Visualise your data
    GeoMapper will now display your filtered lists on a map, providing a clear visual representation of your target accounts and their locations.
  5. Get more specific
    Use GeoMapper's sketch functionality to draw around specific area by clicking 'add new area'. This will create a new, filtered list of accounts within a specific region.image-png-Dec-16-2024-12-51-23-7531-PM
  6. Export your lists
    Export your targeted lists back into HubSpot with a single click. No need for CSV files or manual imports.
  7. Engage your targets
    Use your exported lists to create targeted sales sequences or marketing campaigns. For example, you can send personalised emails to prospects in a specific region, inviting them to an upcoming event.

Examples of Regional ABM Strategies:

  • Sales Trip Planning - Identify key accounts in a specific city or region and create a targeted sales sequence inviting them to meet with you during your visit.
  • Event Marketing - Target prospects near an upcoming event with personalised invitations and promotional materials.
  • Geotargeted Advertising - Run online advertising campaigns specifically targeted to prospects in a particular region.
