Multiple content creators in your business is great but you're at risk of having an inconsistent brand voice. HubSpot's new AI-powered Brand Voice tool is here to help you create content that truly captures your brand's unique personality. Simply feed it your content and watch as it mirrors your characteristics.
Follow these steps:
1. Set up Brand Voice
- Navigate to Settings in your HubSpot account.
- Click on Account Defaults.
- In the top navigation bar, choose Branding.
- Scroll down to find Brand Kit.
- Click on the Brand Voice tab (it's new!).
2. Generating Your Brand Voice
- Click the Generate Brand Voice button.
- Provide a Sample: Paste in a piece of writing that embodies your brand's voice. This could be an article, blog post, case study, newsletter, social media post, or website content.
- Target Audience: Select the audience this sample was written for.
- Click Next to let HubSpot analyse your sample.
3. Refining Your Brand Voice
- Personality: HubSpot will identify your brand voice's personality traits such as innovative, trustworthy, or helpful.
- Tone: HubSpot will also pick up on the overall tone you want to convey (informative, optimistic, authoritative, etc.).
- Click Done to finalise your brand voice.
4. Adding Context (Optional)
- Click Context to provide additional details.
- Briefly describe your company's mission statement.
- Select where this brand voice can be applied (blog posts, emails, landing pages, social media). Use the toggle buttons to manage this.
5. Applying Brand Voice to Your Content
- Open an existing blog post or create a new one.
- Highlight your text and click on the AI Content Assistant.
- Select Apply Brand Voice.
- HubSpot will process your content based on your brand voice settings.
- Always review the generated content before hitting publish to ensure it aligns with your vision.
