Platform Consultant at BabelQuest

Hi, I', Seyi and I have had a diverse career over the years across construction, tech sales, operations and strategy which has equipped me with valuable skills and experience which I employ in fulfilling my love for configuring, and optimising HubSpot CRM for various business use cases and scenarios.

About my role

As a HubSpot CRM Platform Consultant, my main job is to understand what our clients need and build practical, working solutions for them in HubSpot. The work is always varied; one day I might be in a workshop planning a project, and the next I could be focused on solving a tricky technical problem. I enjoy getting to the bottom of complex issues and setting up systems that work well and can grow with the client's business. My aim is always to provide a clear solution that fits their processes and gives them results they can see. 

A typical week involves a variety of tasks, such as::

  • Leading workshops with clients to map out their sales processes, understanding their goals and challenges before configuring the platform to match how their teams work.
  • Managing key integrations, especially with Salesforce, to ensure data flows smoothly between systems and gives everyone a single, reliable view of the customer journey.
  • Building out the sales tools in HubSpot, from setting up deal pipelines and reports to creating automated lead scoring that helps sales teams focus on the best opportunities.
  • Running practical, hands-on training sessions to ensure teams are confident in using the new processes and tools for their day-to-day work.
  • Auditing existing client setups to identify what can be improved, then creating a clear action plan to better support their sales and integration needs.
  • Creating dashboards to help clients keep an eye on the quality of their data, ensuring their system stays clean and organised.

What I love about BabelQuest

What I find most rewarding in my role is the process of translating a client's business problems into a streamlined process enhanced by technology. BabelQuest has proven to be the ideal place to do this work. Having moved from a Salesforce background, I taught myself HubSpot and had long followed the company for its deep expertise and knowledge resources. Now, being part of the team, the opportunity to learn is immense. The sheer variety of projects, clients, and industries means I am constantly broadening my technical horizons, which is perfect for me as I enjoy being something of a generalist.

The level of expertise among my colleagues gives me a great deal of confidence. It’s a role where I am constantly learning, yet always feel able to achieve meaningful results for our clients. There’s a real satisfaction in knowing your work is genuinely helping a business solve its challenges.

Most important, however, is the company culture. My perception before joining was that it was a great place to work, and this was confirmed from my very first interview. The environment is genuinely people-centred and positive, with everyone invested in each other's success as well as the company’s wider goals. The work is challenging and often stretches me to explore new areas, but knowing that the right support is always there provides the confidence to tackle any problem. It is this combination of meaningful work, a brilliant team, and a supportive culture that makes BabelQuest stand out.
