The Head of Client Delivery owns the direction and delivery of our Inbound Services, accountable for retention, growth and goals of every client - we want you to help us take it to the next level!

The primary purpose of this role is owning the direction and delivery of our 'agency-style' services. To develop the strategies and execution of the Inbound Services and Content Marketing activities, including inbound campaigns, content marketing, creative, lead generation, traffic generation and paid. 

Why 'agency-style'?  We're now no longer an agency, but a 'HubSpot Solutions Provider' and as such, we've split our services into Delivery (agency-style services) and Expert Practices (Technical Implementation and Consultancy).  The Delivery Team is the largest team and this role is to take our Inbound Services to the next level!

You'll be accountable for the retention, growth and goals of every client that the agency services team serve. Working closely with the Head of Revenue, Client Experience Manager and Operations Manager to ensure we are focused on delivering ROI to the clients and support the financial goals of the business.

You'll be responsible for the personal development of the team, achieving the Client’s goals, the quality of the Inbound Strategy Plans and deliverables produced and so ensure that every client’s expectations are exceeded.

What you'll do:

  • Exceed the expectations of our clients, manage the day-to-day running of the delivery team and the strategic and logistical handling of all accounts, projects and campaigns.
  • Be accountable for the strategy and execution of all client-facing work, to ensure we deliver the right strategies and results to meet and exceed the goals of each client.
  • Be responsible for forward planning, take responsibility for the delivery teams and head off any problems personally or know when to pull the management team together to plan for dealing with any issues before they happen.
  • Set and manage the expectations of the client and team in terms of agency deliverables.
  • Be responsible for knowing the status of all campaigns and the health of each client relationship.
  • Be accountable for the profitability, performance and productivity of every client the team serves. 
  • Be responsible for upholding the businesses processes at all times and actively encourage your team to adhere to the process, as well as making a proactive contribution to developing and improving them.
  • Ensure that BabelQuest’s values are being reflected across the client delivery team.
  • Understand client processes and timelines and integrate these with agency processes.
  • Be able to maintain and set agency internal standards, ensure strategy and creative work presented is on strategy and is an appropriate response to the brief.
  • Ensure clients communications are up-to-date and in line with the agency’s process.
  • Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with major clients, agencies, suppliers and other stakeholders, to exchange information and views and ensure that the delivery team is providing the appropriate range and quality of services.
  • Monitor the area of martech to understand what technology could enhance the delivery of marketing services to clients or enhance the client’s marketing programmes. Ensure that the company remains at the forefront in applying the most cost-effective methods and approaches, providing leading-edge products and services and retaining its competitive edge.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and maintain quality management systems, processes and policies to ensure the best possible services,  products and services are provided to customers on time, in scope and within budget.
  • Take the lead in creating top-level performance reports on clients to the business, highlighting wins, and securing case studies, referrals etc.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Team, supporting prospects to define plans during the sales process and surfacing opportunities for client growth. Looking for gaps in the market for new services that the Revenue Team can promote. 
  • Regularly seeks opportunities for organic growth and new business opportunities.


Who you are:

  • Must have demonstrable marketing and agency experience at a senior level, developing digital marketing strategies, plans, and tactics for a variety of different industries.
  • An understanding of the principles and practices of ‘inbound’ and/or experience working with HubSpot (ideally) or another marketing and sales platform.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Proven track record in developing business growth strategies and plans that have contributed to increasing revenue, new customer acquisition, and customer retention. 
  • Able to identify emerging marketing technologies and trends, evaluate and implement them.
  • Demonstrable people management experience - responsible for everyday management as well as ongoing personal development.
  • HubSpot experience is desirable.
