What we are looking for:

We need an experienced Operations Manager, who can take our growing business to the next level.
This role will work very closely with the client relations manager, who is responsible for ensuring the
happiness of our clients. The operations manager is responsible for specific profitability KPIs and the
measured happiness of the client delivery team. Essentially, we’re not looking for someone with an
ego; you will be right for this role and our agency if you want what is best for our people and our
agency, which will mean it will also be best for our customers.

To land this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate your success within operations and project
management. Ideally, you will have agency experience, managing the operational side of a business
operating in digital marketing. If not, then you’ll need to have a track record of successfully
managing business improvement initiatives and operating in a high-growth and data analytics


As our Operations Manager, a typical day might include the following:

  • A 120-minute Senior Management Monthly Meeting, where you will report on operation KPIs and if this impacts your annual operations plan
  • Congratulate the team working on a client that has managed to complete a specific project on-time and on budget
  • A 30-minute meeting with our Internal Marketing Manager to discuss if we can boost the promotion of roles as we have an upcoming capacity requirement
  • Run a report to confirm all the monthly reports that have been sent to clients
  • Coach an employee who is struggling with project management processes and needs help implementing them across their clients
  • Brainstorm with the client relations manager on how we can improve our onboarding process for clients
  • Deep dive into the data analytics for a specific team who are struggling to maintain productivity levels


This job might be for you if:

  • You can work methodically as well as thriving in a chaotic environment where you are comfortable balancing systems, processes, and policies whilst having to take an agile approach when required
  • You enjoy helping people, creating, evolving, and embedding systems and processes into a team that enables productivity and efficiency without tying people’s hands behind their backs
  • You enjoy reviewing data and are always looking for ways to improve things
  • You are open-minded to new ideas and are comfortable challenging yourself on the operations you've put in place
  • You're not reluctant to admit when things are wrong, or can be improved, even if that means changing something you've embedded
  • You are looking for a challenge.  This role won't be for the faint-hearted but will enable you to put your stamp on the agency's client delivery operations.  You'll take pride in helping scale the business to the next level


What you'll do:

  • Look after our project management process, to make sure the work is delivered on time and makes a profit.  It also means planning and managing resource and capacity requirements to make sure that the agency isn't too stretched. 
  • Be directly involved in hiring talent, both directly and via recruiters. Most of all, it means making sure that our culture stays strong with two main objectives: profitability and the tangibly measured happiness in the office.
  • Run, deliver and improve the various operational processes required to deliver our wide range of services across marketing, sales, and content, in addition to being responsible for developing relationships with the company’s key stakeholders.
  • Improve operational decision making within the business through effective process excellence and data analysis
  • Create a plan to increase productivity and revenue growth across all operational areas
  • Review feedback and implement improvements in processes and systems to ensure the operational function meets market needs and is fit for the future
  • Oversee and allocate resources across all departments within the business
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure outstanding work is being delivered to clients, on time, and on budget
  • Drive, monitor, and embed operational excellence, processes, and framework improvements
  • Manage costs to ensure all campaigns deliver within budget
  • Select, procure and quality check the suppliers to successfully deliver our services, alongside of Department heads
