Hi, I’m Callum, BabelQuest’s new Inbound Marketer. Read on to find out more about me, the role, and why I’m excited to work at one of HubSpot’s leading Solution Partners.
I have a colourful professional background, having worked in comms, sales, and marketing. I cut my teeth as a journalist heading up a global health and fitness magazine and freelance writing for major titles such as Men’s Fitness and Shortlist.
However, I soon became fascinated with marketing as I was attracted to the concept of helping people find the best solutions for their needs. I led the inbound marketing and sales strategy for a trade marketing agency. Here I became a HubSpot evangelist, while also delivering marketing campaigns for leading brands including Huawei, Mazda, and Cambridge University Press, to name a few.
Before joining BabelQuest, I drove the business development strategy and managed marketing campaigns at a fast-growing media company. This involved interviewing C-level executives at some of the world's leading enterprises and creating and promoting content via a multitude of distribution channels.
I look forward to bringing my content creation skills, commercial acumen, and inbound marketing experience to the BabelQuest team. I’m also excited to deliver stellar results for our clients and help them grow from strength to strength.
What’s the role?
As BabelQuest’s newest Inbound Marketer, I’ll be accountable for successful client delivery. Here’s just a flavour of what I’ll be doing to ensure elite inbound campaigns.
Implementing all kinds of marketing, sales, and services activity across HubSpot to support my clients’ needs
Collaborating with our Strategists to ensure my work hits the spot and to support them in creating strategies aligned toour clients’ goals
Getting stuck in and taking HubSpot for a spin! Inbound marketing is a bit like building an Aston Martin. With meticulous planning and attention to detail, you create a well-oiled machine that performs beautifully.
I love processes, systems, and watching something you’ve created come to life. And when there’s a happy client sitting next to you in the passenger seat, that’s the cherry on top.
Outside of work, I like...
I’m happiest when I’m outdoors. I spend my free time hiking mountains, wildswimming in lakes, or anything else where I can connect with nature. I also reallyenjoy hitting the gym, playing piano, reading non-fiction books, and having icebaths (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it).
On the weekends, I volunteer at an animal sanctuary, which is basically cat andhedgehog heaven. I lived in Korea for a couple of years and brought back a rescue cat. His name is ‘Haeng-Oon’, which is Korean for ‘Lucky’, or simply ‘Ooni’ for short. He likes to eat copious amounts of food and explore, just like me.
We're hiring! If anything I’ve chatted about here strikes a chord, we'd love to hear from you. Check out ourcareers page and see if any of our vacancies catch your eye.
