We are looking for an exceptional, enthusiastic and expert Sales Manager to join our team.


You will be responsible for new-client acquisition efforts within BabelQuest, specifically helping BabelQuest bring on between 2 - 3 new clients each month.  To be executing our defined sales process from beginning to end. Working closely with our Business Development Executive, who is responsible for qualifying and sourcing leads and internal teams who will help scope the services we will deliver in order to meet their goals.

You will be accountable for taking prospects through our consultative sales process, which involves discovery, analysis, recommendations, answering questions, presenting and closing. 

This is a high-profile role with lots of scope for personal development and growth. You will have access to some of the best sales tools and training in the world, and be a leading member of a team that transforms our client’s businesses.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for all aspects of our sales process
  • Ability to guide prospective clients through the complex and sometimes confusing challenges they’re experiencing as they attempt to improve marketing and sales in their business
  • Excellent storytelling, with the ability to identify the key pains the prospect is dealing with and tell the story that clearly identifies us as the best option to help them with that pain
  • Excellent listening skills, with the ability to clearly understand what prospects want to buy, what they need and what their priorities are; to clarify any points of uncertainty or ambiguity with the prospect, and to help our team create the perfect set of recommendations
  • Ability to take complex concepts and communicate them easily to prospects so they understand and can relate to the answers
  • Management of all opportunities within our CRM, including updating deals, projecting revenue and close dates, using the CRM to keep active notes, sharing notes with colleagues and providing suggestions on how to optimise our CRM usage over time
  • Responsibility for all aspects of the KPIs associated with the sales process, including tracking and understanding the current length of the sales process, the close rates at each stage of the sales process, pipeline velocity and revenue projections.


  • Be the point of contact for prospects currently engaged in conversations with our business around how we might be able to help them improve sales and marketing and drive revenue growth
  • Coordinate the efforts of the Client Services and Delivery teams to scope and create recommendations and pricing for prospective clients
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure all content, marketing and stories are aligned with the businesses go-to-market messaging and positioning
  • Report to and work closely with the Head of Revenue to drive BabelQuest’s revenue growth.
  • Close two to three new clients each month.

Professional Skills

  • Experience leading sales in a similar environment. Typically B2B, this could be from a digital marketing agency, a consultancy firm, technology company or similar.
  • Expertise in sales methodology and execution
  • Ability and experience in analysing business requirements, to determine fit with our services
  • Excellent understanding of best practice across sales and marketing and customer service
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, teamwork and listening skills
  • A positive, proactive person that is willing to lead and roll up their sleeves to pitch in.
