The Technical Project Manager joins our Expert Practice Team to deliver Best-in-Class HubSpot Services

This role is primarily responsible for planning, managing and overseeing the execution of Technical Projects, from sales to close, to ensure we are able to work with our clients to achieve their goals. 

We anticipate the role being 50% client delivery and 50% operational. The secondary responsibility is the administration of all projects in our project management system, to be able to track, report and support all projects, to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget and in scope.  

To be responsible for educating the team and clients, embedding project management processes, best practices and recommending improvements and how to increase quality.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for implementing project methodology.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
  • Responsible for adding all projects, milestones and plans to the project management system and working with the Operations Manager to schedule resource.
  • Work with Revenue Team, delivery team and Expert Practices to define and document questions and define new requirements and articulate feasibility.
  • Responsible for project status reporting, anticipating and responding to change.
  • Help improve productivity and profitability by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope.
  • Take ownership of translating the defined goals and scope of new technical projects into clear project plans, with milestones and dependencies.
  • Write project plans, be accountable for the administration of the project management platform, assigning tasks to team members, monitor progress, continuously update the client on status, managing expectations and reporting progress via dashboards to management.
  • Produce a Statement of Work that provides clear guidelines, expectations, what is out of scope, how to mitigate scope creep and what the project costs cover. 
  • Understand and implement change management where necessary.
  • Work closely with other departments and with clients to ensure clear communication, roles & responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Risk management, escalating when necessary.  
  • Support the revenue team with new business opportunities, helping to scope new projects and answer questions.
  • Review lessons learned, implement changes and develop/improve processes.
  • Share best practices in project management, ensuring we are delivering high-quality results. 
  • Produce marketing and sales content to communicate our project management processes/ways of working to prospects and customers.
  • Be able to present complex information to our clients in a simple and engaging way.
  • Demonstrate a strong product (HubSpot and other tech stacks) knowledge.

Who you are:

  • Project management experience required, relevant Project Management Qualifications desirable
  • Agency or CRM consultancy experience, along with managing day-to-day operational aspects of technical projects, including complex CRM implementation projects, websites and Enterprise Software Implementation 
  • Competent in project methodology and project management systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CRM and Martech technologies
  • Budget management
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to work as an integral part of the internal teams and with external partners
