Hi, I’m Stevie and I’m one of BabelQuest’s newest Copywriters.
I’ve always had an interest in creative writing. After studying English at the University of South Wales, delving into the likes of societal discourse, ancient & Renaissance literature, and language analysis, I then went on to complete an MSc Marketing degree at Queen’s University Belfast. Here, I explored topics such as consumer behaviour, marketing strategy, research methods, and more.
I’ve spent the past three years working in digital marketing, specialising in content, with the majority of my time spent focusing on research, SEO and marketing strategy best practices.
I’m now excited to bring my creative experience and spritely enthusiasm to the BabelQuest team!
What’s the role?
As a Copywriter, I will liaise with my clients to discover how I can help them to optimise their search ranking, advance their strategies, and strengthen relationships with their customers through the magic of creative content.
This will involve creating content calendars, developing their content strategies, and delivering pieces ranging from pillar pages, and long-form guides to blogs, case studies, and anything that will help them to achieve their goals and drive results.
What am I looking forward to?
I’m keen to dive deep into what my clients are all about; getting to know their side of the story, how they work, and the ways in which I can help them to build and boost relationships with their target audiences. As well as this, I’m looking forward to getting to know my colleagues better and becoming part of their cohesive, creative team; learning from them and acquainting myself with their varied skills and experiences.
Outside of work, I like...
Outside of work I love to paint. My favourite subjects are figurative (another way of saying nude art) wildlife, and seascapes. I enjoy listening to podcasts and audiobooks, everything from ancient myths and animal facts to self-improvement. And, as someone who has always had trouble sleeping, I’m an avid yoga enthusiast, gym-goer and forest explorer.
