Hi, I’m Rachel and I’m a Senior Project Manager. I have worked under the project's umbrella for around 7 years and I’m qualified to the Prince2 practitioner level. My qualifications mixed with my work experience mean I’m able to take on senior PM roles and responsibilities.
I have always worked within IT departments/industry and my experience falls heavily within software/web implementation, system upgrades and CRM platform implementations.
What’s the role?
At BabelQuest I will be project managing mainly EP projects however there may be some crossover with other departments such as CMS and Success as relationships grow and customers realise the benefits of working with BabelQuest and Hubspot.
I will be involved with clients from a very high level at a pre-sales stage and then become their main point of contact from project kick off through to delivery and BAU. I will be working very closely internally with the consultants to plan and align on work and ensure the smooth running of timelines and closely with the client side PM and stakeholder teams to build relationships and align on project practises to ensure all projects tasks and goals are realised.
What am I looking forward to?
Whilst I’m a big advocate for Agile working I also think it’s important to follow some of the Prince methodologies when it comes to documentation and planning. I’m looking forward to working with the teams internally to use these processes and in turn hopefully see the results it can bring from both a customer satisfaction point of view and communication both internally and externally.
I’m looking forward to working with new clients and assisting in bringing their goals to fruition, there is nothing better than seeing a new platform go live and knowing you’ve played a small part in the benefits it brings to clients!
Outside of work, I like...
Outside of work I’m unfortunately that crazy dog mum! I love to go out and about with my little Dachshund, Phyllis, (who hates walking, the rain, the wind and being cold so getting her to leave the house is rare!) or I’ll go walking alone/with friends. I like to read or watch trashy TV and I’m a complete chocoholic!
